of feverous bodies

video installation, text, and image

In this series, I deconstruct the traditional TV screen by removing its polarized layer, the essential component that makes images visible to the human eye. Without this filter, the video continues to play but remains visible only through another polarized lens. This physical alteration becomes a metaphor for selective perception, hidden realities, and the ways media manipulates truth through the aesthetics of infotainment.

The work weaves together found footage of human-made conflicts, wars, explosions, police brutality, and protests with imagery of natural disasters such as wildfires, floods, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes. By merging these visual narratives, I reveal the interconnectedness between human violence and environmental collapse, exposing how cycles of exploitation and destruction echo across both social and ecological systems.
